How reconstitution works

Lyophilised peptide is a dry powder. Adding bacteriostatic water dissolves it into a solution with a known concentration in mg per ml. Less water means a more concentrated solution and a smaller draw; more water means an easier, more precise measurement on the syringe. Direct the stream against the inner glass wall rather than onto the powder, and swirl — never shake.

Storage after mixing

Keep reconstituted vials refrigerated at 2–8 °C and protected from light. Unreconstituted lyophilised powder is stable long term at −20 °C. Every Apex Peps batch ships with HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity data.
